DraftNOGA: Smart Food Analysis
A mobile app that analyses packaged food: take a photo of the ingredients or nutrition label (or type the ingredients), and NOGA highlights ingredients to watch out for and summarises how healthy the food is.

The problem
Ingredient lists and nutrition labels are hard to read quickly, especially when you're trying to avoid something specific.
What it does
- Take a picture of a product's ingredients or nutrition facts, or type the ingredients in.
- NOGA lists ingredients to look out for, with a short explanation of each (e.g. milk solids that contain lactose).
- A summary flags things like vitamin-dense, high in sugar, or not a milk-based drink.
- A nutrition breakdown (e.g. fat) with a link to more detail.
